Comprar libros estaría genial si además pudieras comprar el tiempo que necesitas para leerlos… Pero como regla general, la compra de libros se confunde a menudo con la simple adquisición de sus contenidos.

Algunos daños colaterales que pueden ocasionar 20 años de escuela:
1.-La gente tiende a procesar la información diferente en el salón de clase, que en situaciones de la vida cotidiana.
"Knowledge, even when it is exact, does not often lead to appropriate actions because we tend to forget what we know, or forget how to process it properly if we do not pay attention, even when we are experts. Statisticians, it has been shown, tend to leave their brains in the classroom and engage in the most trivial inferential errors once they are let out on the streets."

2.-La gente se institucionaliza. No sabe como, o le da miedo, desarrollarse en el mundo real.
"These walls are funny. First you hate ‘em, then you get used to ‘em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them. That’s institutionalized."

La gente piensa que por haber cursado una carrera en X escuela de Y prestigio, van a tener una vida fácil y van a saber mucho por el puro hecho de haber estudiado ahí. El estudiante hace a la escuela, no la escuela al estudiante.
